the project: Surface pattern design concerts and retail product design direction for Valentine’s day 2027
my role: Lead design consultant
to do: Established the creative direction and surface design strategy for a multi-regional product launch targeting garden centers and home retailers across Scandinavia and North America. The collection centered on a modern "Scandi-folk" aesthetic, blending traditional motifs with contemporary retail trends. Developed the core conceptual framework, including the "Scandi-folk" mood board and a curated color palette tailored for the 2027 seasonal market. Engineered original patterns for a diverse range of 2D and 3D applications, including specialized embossing techniques for hard goods and home decor. Provided design oversight for concepts intended for private label production, ensuring visual cohesion across global manufacturing sites in Denmark, the USA, and Canada.
