This video illustrates why Lexie brings me smile (and laugh) everyday. She also brings out my high pitched "dog voice" (if you've ever had a dog, you will understand). She might be the custest dog on the face of this earth.

inspired to spa : verana
This promotional video for the Verana Spa in Yelapa, Mexico speaks for itself. It reminds me SO much of the Philippines. It is so gorgeous on so many levels. My ideal living space — airy, tropical modern that is still earthy and rustic on a similar geographical location. If only...I wish I could get away this weekend. Watch the Day Spa video too.
adam frelin : floating boulder
in art
I have no idea why I am fascinated by this video by artist Adam Frelin. There's something hypnotizing about this two minutes of silence. Perhaps it's because a little bit of quiet is so rare these days. I don't even question why a boulder should be floating in a marsh. It just is.
for children and the creative process
This adorable and brilliant animation for a Dutch children's charity imparts some great ideas not only for children but for anyone of any age. The messages are particularly pertinent to the creative process. It's simple, clever and well done. Watch it here.

More video love! This one by Charlie McCarthy is made up of 156 photos of insects flying around a streetlight. Each one is a four second exposure. Beautiful!

inspired view : kuroshio sea
This is absolutely beautiful. It is a video of the Okinawa Churami Aquarium by Jon Rawlinson. Take a 4.5 minute break and view it full screen in HD. You will be hypnotized.
The song is entitled Please Don't Go by Barcelona.

Things like this makes me fall in love with typography all over again. I've never seen Helvetica look better. This is new and timeless all at the same time.
