One of the stories I will share with Rumi one day: I suddenly found myself in Egypt in 2012 and discovered (and felt) the scale of things I had then only read about in art history books. That I was in awe. I will tell him that although I was traveling with someone, emotionally, I was really there alone. But what an epic adventure it was. This guy had a heartbreaking preschool drop off with me this morning. I felt so guilty for having a few hours of downtime. Then at (early) pick up he was so happy.
