I'm quite sure that having been born in a tropical region of the world (the Philippines) has everything to do with a fascination with tropical architecture. This coupled with a love of photography and travel it naturally lead me to document many delicious examples of buildings and interiors born out of the heat. I administer a group named Tropical Architecture on Flickr. The group is solely dedicated to celebrating all that balmy places have to offer, architecturally speaking. Featured are buildings and details from high brow to humble. I thought it might be interesting to see what others would choose to contribute. Here are examples of photographs I've taken in my travels between Miami to Palawan and beyond. During winter months, I love to take the occasional visual vacation from the seasonal color palette of New York to see some WARM... at least photographically speaking. I highly recommend it.
